Vélo Club de Grand-Case

Rousseau began cycling at the Vélo Club de Grand-Case and was French junior track vice-champion in 2012, Le Pélican and Faxinfo report. Le Pélican also says he was Guadeloupe under-23 road champion.

Tour de la Guadeloupe

Riding for VC Grand-Case, he won two stages of the 2017 Tour de la Guadeloupe: the first half of stage 8 on 5 August and the final stage 9 on 6 August, France-Antilles and DirectVelo reported.

Professional

DirectVelo reported at the end of 2017 that he would turn professional in 2018 with Interpro Stradalli Cycling, a Continental team. In 2021 France-Antilles described him as having recently retired from racing.

Back home

In May 2025 he visited schools in Quartier d'Orléans to encourage children to take up cycling, Le Pélican and Faxinfo reported. Road racing continues on the island: the Grand Prix cycliste de Saint-Martin held its second edition in 2024.
