Keacy Carty is a St. Maarten cricketer who plays for the Leeward Islands. According to Cricket West Indies (CWI), he became the first player from St. Maarten called up to the West Indies senior men's team, for the one-day international tour of the Netherlands in May and June 2022. He was also a member of the West Indies side that won the 2016 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup in Bangladesh.

West Indies call-up

CWI described Carty as "the first cricketer born in the island of St Maarten to make a West Indies squad", and the Jamaica Observer, carrying a CMC report, said the same when he was named for the 2022 tour. In his first international innings, at the VRA Ground in Amstelveen, he made 43 not out off 66 balls, CWI reported. He holds Dutch nationality and could have played for the Netherlands, but chose the West Indies, CWI and the Observer report.

Under-19 world champion

Carty was part of the West Indies team that won the 2016 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup in Bangladesh, the Observer and CWI report. CWI says he made a patient, match-defining half-century in that title win.

Leeward Islands

After the Under-19 title he joined the Leeward Islands' first-class side, according to CWI. Regional cricket also comes to his home island: in 2025 St. Maarten hosted the Leeward Islands Masters T20, which Antigua and Barbuda won by beating Nevis by 72 runs.
