Soprano Leïla Brédent brought opera to Collège Soualiga pupils on 9 October
Soprano Leïla Brédent and pianist Dominic Boulianne performed for about 50 pupils at Collège Soualiga on Friday, 9 October 2026, during their visit for the Rotary charity concerts.

Soprano Leïla Brédent and pianist Dominic Boulianne performed for about 50 pupils at Collège Soualiga on Friday, 9 October 2026, Faxinfo reported. The audience was the school's 5e music-option (CHAM) class and a CE2 class from École Élie Gibs.
According to Faxinfo, the pair performed four works ranging from Mozart to Puccini, including pieces from Faust and Lakmé. They were on the island for the Rotary charity concerts (earlier piece). Music teacher Antoine Grandemange told Faxinfo that the music track stopped at lycée level.
