From the Dutch side

NRJ's biography says the brothers were raised in the Dutch part of St. Martin, the side whose capital is Philipsburg, and Le Parisien reported in 2014 that they went to school there. Their father was born in Germany and their mother is from the Dominican Republic, both outlets report. Their label, Jo & Co, says the name of the duo comes from the pronunciation of their surname.

"Addicted To Your Love"

A French producer discovered the brothers in 2013, NRJ and Le Parisien report, and they signed to Jo & Co, the label run by Sébastien Saussez. They write their own songs. "Addicted To Your Love" came out on French radio and iTunes in May 2014 and made them known in France; Le Parisien wrote that the song had won over NRJ, France Bleu and Europe 1. The paper also reported close to 1.5 million YouTube views and their Paris stage debut at the MaMA Festival, at La Cigale, on 17 October 2014.
