The schedule

According to the government, the Montreal flight, AC1362, was set to run on Sundays, leaving Montreal at 10:15 am and arriving at 3:55 pm, with the return, AC1363, leaving St. Maarten at 4:55 pm. It was to use a Boeing 737 MAX 8 with 169 seats, 16 of them in business class. Toronto flights went to four a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, giving Air Canada five weekly flights to the island in its 2024-25 winter schedule.

Tourism Minister Grisha Heyliger-Marten called it "good news" for stay-over arrivals in the high season. "Although this is seasonal, we are going to do all within our power to ensure that the flights remain at the same levels beyond the winter season," she said.
