Air Caraïbes will fly daily between Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe, and Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM) from 8 January 2027, the airline announced on 15 October. The route will be flown with an ATR 72-600 turboprop, and tickets went on sale the same day.

According to Air Caraïbes, the new service is meant to make travel between the islands easier and to link up with the airline's regional and transatlantic flights. The airline says the schedule was built so that passengers can connect onward through Pointe-à-Pitre. It adds that the Juliana flights will complement its existing service to Grand-Case on the French side.

Paris, seven days a week

Air Caraïbes also said it would bring back its direct Paris-Orly to Princess Juliana flights from 15 October 2026, using an Airbus A350 on Mondays and Thursdays. Combined with the new daily Guadeloupe service, the airline says travellers will have a way to reach Paris every day of the week, either nonstop or through Pointe-à-Pitre, depending on the day.

Air Caraïbes managing director Karen Virapin said the daily route brings "more flexibility, more travel options and new connection opportunities" for customers, and strengthens the link between Saint-Martin, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Paris, the Caribbean and the Americas.
