The Lions Club Saint-Martin Oualichi and Aqua Terr'HappY are holding a charity aquagym session for Octobre Rose, the breast cancer awareness month, on Saturday, October 17, according to Le Pélican, Le97150 and the CPTS Saint-Martin Octobre Rose programme.

- Time: from 9:30 a.m., until about 11:00 a.m. according to Le Pélican
- Place: Grand-Case beach, by the "maison abandonnée" (abandoned house) near the Grand Case Beach Club

Where to get screened (French side)
Under France's national organised screening programme, women aged 50 to 74 with no symptoms and no particular risk factors are invited for a mammogram every two years, and the exam is fully covered, according to the Assurance Maladie (page updated May 2026). Since January 1, 2024, the invitations have come from the Assurance Maladie rather than the regional screening centre (CRCDC), the CRCDC says.
