Minister Plenipotentiary Gracita Arrindell attended the 11th FRED Job Fair & Conference in Rotterdam on October 24, where her Cabinet is building a database to reach students and the diaspora, the government says.

Minister Plenipotentiary Drs. Gracita R. Arrindell attended the 11th FRED Job Fair & Conference at the World Trade Center in Rotterdam on Saturday, October 24, 2026, according to a release from the Government of Sint Maarten.
What FRED is
According to the release, the job fair brings together job seekers, employers and organisations from the Dutch Caribbean and the Netherlands. FRED aims to encourage students and professionals to move, or move back, to the Dutch Caribbean islands. The release says more than 45 companies and organizations were announced as participants.
A database of students and diaspora
In the release, Arrindell said her Cabinet is "proactively building a data base" and strengthening its outreach to Sint Maarten students and members of the diaspora in the Netherlands.
