The 21st Course de l'Alliance, a three-island regatta linking Sint Maarten, St. Barth and Anguilla, was sailed from 6 to 8 December 2024. According to the Sint Maarten Yacht Club (SMYC), which organised the race with co-host Saint Martin Voile Pour Tous for the first time, 21 boats competed in four fleets: CSA 1, CSA 2, CSA Multihull and Diam 24. The event was sponsored by FKG.

Three legs

According to the SMYC, the first race started from Simpson Bay at 11 AM on Friday 6 December and headed for St. Barth, where the fast Diam fleet finished in about two hours and the Saint Barth Yacht Club hosted the evening's prize-giving. On Saturday the fleet raced downwind from St. Barth to Anguilla, with some boats taking five hours, and the Anguilla Yacht Club welcomed sailors at the finish. The final leg on Sunday brought the boats back to Simpson Bay for the closing ceremony.

The winners

According to the SMYC, Maelia won the eight-boat CSA 1 class ahead of Dauntless and More Zessin'. In CSA 2, four Melges boats raced and the sponsor's own boat, FKG, won, with Caraibes Diesel second and Team IWW third. Seaduction beat Oceans Tribute in the two-boat multihull class. In the seven-boat Diam fleet, Ty Male and Cry Baby finished level on points, and Ty Male took the title after the final race. Karibuni was third.

The Daily Herald's preview before the race had put the expected fleet at 19 boats.
