The announcement
Delta had announced the route in July 2024 as a winter service to Princess Juliana International Airport, twice a week, Caribbean Journal reported at the time. The airline launched a Minneapolis-Aruba route in the same season.
Brian Ryks, chief executive of the Metropolitan Airports Commission, which runs Minneapolis-St Paul airport, said the new flights gave Upper Midwest travellers their widest range of options to Latin America and the Caribbean, according to the outlet.
