A public consultation on Sint Maarten's draft National Gambling Ordinance (Kansspelenverordening) will open on Monday, October 26, 2026. The Gambling Authority's consultation page confirms the opening date.
What the Government says
According to the Government's release, the consultation will close on Friday, December 4, 2026. The Government also says it will hold targeted stakeholder sessions from November 6 to 12.
The Government's release says the consultation documents will be available at gamblingauthority.sx/consultationLVO. The legal texts will be in Dutch, with English support material. The release describes the ordinance as part of the gambling sector reform under the Country Package.
