More than 100 boats took part, Le Pélican reported. In the CSA 1 class, Sailing Poland took first place, with Janssen de Jong–DutchSail second on the same number of points and I Love Poland third. In Multihull 1, Five Oceans won, ahead of Arawak/Island Water World, according to the paper.
The organisers said Deep Blue won the Fastest Monohull Spinnaker title in the around-the-island race, and that the 2022 regatta was part of the new IMA Caribbean Maxi Challenge.
The event, one of the best-known dates on the island's sporting calendar, had not been held in its usual form for the previous two years.
