The 9th edition of La Saint-Martinoise, a women-only run and walk, was held on the Marigot waterfront on Saturday 13 March 2021, Faxinfo reported.
The 5 km event, organised by the Avenir Sportif Club de Saint-Martin around International Women's Day, was limited that year to 200 entrants because of the health situation, according to Faxinfo. The race started at 4 p.m. and ran through the streets of Marigot.
Céline Racon Dorville of Crédit Mutuel was the event's patron, and gave a speech supporting women's sport, the outlet reported. A raffle with Air Caraïbes return tickets among the prizes followed the race. The organisers had already set the date for a 10th edition the following year.
