The appointment comes after 15 years with the institution, according to Le Pélican, Faxinfo, France-Antilles and The Daily Herald, which reported the news last week.

Confirmed by the CCISM

The appointment was announced on the CCISM's LinkedIn page. Raspail joined the chamber in 2011 and worked at the Centre de Formalités des Entreprises, as export project officer, as head of business support and as deputy director before becoming Director General, according to the post.

She was chosen on the proposal of CCISM president Angèle Dormoy and succeeds Julien Bataille, Le Pélican reported. Le97150 reported that about a dozen candidates were considered and that Bataille left the post in January. According to Le97150, Raspail holds a Master 1 in management and international business and a Master 2 in human resources. Her first engagements were the CCI network's CCINERGIES seminar and Choose Outre-mer in Paris, Le97150 reported. The CCISM says the appointment opens a new stage aimed at a chamber "plus proche du terrain, plus agile, plus performante" (closer to the ground, more agile, more effective).
