The 2024 season was scheduled for every Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. until 16 April, with no event on Tuesday 13 February, Mardi Gras day, Faxinfo said. The event is organised by the company Calypso Event.

Stalls and parade

More than 100 exhibitors took part on opening night, selling crafts, jewellery, clothing, candles, body products, artwork and locally made souvenirs, alongside food and drink stalls, according to Faxinfo. A costumed dance parade with drummers moved up the boulevard from about 7:30 p.m.

During the parade, the organising team thanked the event's supporters and partners. Officials attending said they were proud of how far the weekly street festival had grown over the years, the outlet reported.
