Sint Maarten-based Motorworld launches the GAC car brand in Guyana
Motorworld, headquartered in Sint Maarten, has launched the GAC car brand in Guyana through dealer HSM Motors, its 23rd Caribbean market in two years, according to a Motorworld release.

Motorworld, a car group headquartered in Cole Bay, Sint Maarten, has launched the Chinese brand GAC in Guyana, according to a Motorworld release carried by SMN News. The cars will be sold through local dealer HSM Motors, led by chief executive Mikhail Hosein.

Guyana is the 23rd Caribbean market where Motorworld has launched GAC in two years, the release said. Vehicles come with an eight-year or 160,000 km warranty, and the batteries of electric models are covered for 200,000 km, The Daily Herald reported.
The release quoted Motorworld Executive Chairman Tariq Amjad on the launch.
