The "Let's Go Girls" Ronde Féminine, a three-stage women's road cycling race, takes place on the French side from Friday, October 23, to Sunday, October 25, as part of Octobre Rose, according to Le Pélican and Soualiga Post.

The race

- Riders: women cyclists in categories from U15 to Dames
- Organizer: Team JCO, a Quartier d'Orléans cycling club, according to Soualiga Post and Le Pélican
Le Pélican reports that teams from Martinique, Guadeloupe, Guyane, Curaçao, Puerto Rico and Anguilla have been invited.

Where to get screened (French side)
Under France's national organised screening programme, women aged 50 to 74 with no symptoms and no particular risk factors are invited for a mammogram every two years, and the exam is fully covered, according to the Assurance Maladie (page updated May 2026). Since January 1, 2024, the invitations have come from the Assurance Maladie rather than the regional screening centre (CRCDC), the CRCDC says.
About 200 women a year are diagnosed with breast cancer in Guadeloupe, Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy, and about fifty die of it, according to the CRCDC (2026).
