The health pass

From Friday 22 October 2021, bars, restaurants and hotels hosting more than 30 people had to apply the health pass (passe sanitaire), according to Faxinfo. Sporting, cultural and festive events with more than 30 people also had to apply it and be declared to the Prefecture in advance. In return, the other Covid-related limits on numbers were lifted.

To get in, customers had to show proof of full vaccination, a negative PCR or antigen test less than 72 hours old, or a certificate of recovery. Staff working in those venues, in public-facing areas, also had to hold a pass, and the operators were responsible for the checks.

The Daily Herald reported the same measures.
