The University of St. Martin (USM) hosted a public lecture on perimenopause and menopause on Thursday, 15 October 2026, to mark World Menopause Day, which falls on 18 October. The session was called "(Peri)Menopause… Nobody Told Me This!", according to USM.

The panel brought together general practitioner Dr. Laurien Reinders, naturopathic practitioner and menopause coach Kenan L'Homme, and Amy Arrindell. Khalilah Peters moderated.

Attendees could put questions to the panel anonymously, SXM Today reported.

USM said people who registered for the lecture will receive the presentations by email.

For residents: anyone with symptoms or questions about menopause should speak to their own doctor or general practitioner.
