More than 350 travellers from Colombia arrived at Princess Juliana International Airport (PJIA) on Wingo's Destino Oculto 3 trip, according to Wingo and PJIA, and are visiting St. Maarten until 25 October. The Government put the group at about 400, including content creators and media.
A trip to an unknown destination
Destino Oculto ("hidden destination") is run by Colombian airline Wingo. Passengers book an international getaway without knowing where they are going. According to PJIA, this third edition brought travellers from Bogotá and Medellín for four days and three nights, from 22 to 25 October 2026, under the theme "One Destination, Two Paradises".
PJIA said the trip followed months of preparation with the St. Maarten Tourism Bureau and the Office du Tourisme de Saint-Martin.
What the airport said
Suzy Kartokromo, Aeronautical Business Manager at PJIAE, said the partners had worked on the project for several months. PJIA CEO Michael Cleaver said the airport is focusing on expanding its presence in the South American market.
